Since the end of the cold war, space exploration has not received much progress and enthusiasm. This is a contradiction since missions conducted in the 1960 s and 70s did not take up the state of the art technology that is available in the modern world (Asherman 34). This indicates that political systems in the world are critical to such discoveries. Recently the Chinese and Indians have shown their interests in continuing the works initiated by Americans and Russians. China and India have launched their own satellites into space and they intend to send astronauts to the moon. The progress has been made by China and India indicates the shift of political and economic power from the west to the east. Although the film depicts the capabilities that technology has over governance, it also shows the detrimental aspect of technology on governance. The film demonstrates incidences of attacks on communic ation systems. Cyber attacks are the next battlefield in the modern world. Incidents of cyber attacks have been reported in various countries. This shows the role that technology plays in shaping global politics. Iran has reported cyber attacks on computers that operate its controversial nuclear facilities. According to BBC news agencies, the cyber attacks that were carried out on Iranian nuclear facility have the capabilities of slowing Irans nuclear ambitions for a period of five years.
